We're looking for a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, including OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage.

They will bring Python software-engineering skills and rigour to the operations domain, practicing devsecops from bare metal to application.

The successful candidate will operate complex cloud environments with hundreds of private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for customers across physical and public cloud estates, using automation and a universal operator pattern and model-driven operations.

The role requires experience in a high-pressure operations environment with mission-critical services for global brand-name customers.

The Cloud Architect will gain experience in a broad range of cloud technologies and stay current with open-source infrastructure advancements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure.
  • Bring Python software-engineering skills and rigour to the operations domain.
  • Operate complex cloud environments.

  • Work in a high-pressure operations environment.

Requirements
  • Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with Linux and familiarity with Linux networking and storage.
  • Python software development expertise.
  • Operational experience.
