Audit Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced internal audit specialist to join our organization. As an internal audit specialist, you will be responsible for conducting audits to assess the financial health, internal controls, and regulatory compliance of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial, operational, and compliance audits to identify potential risks, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses in an organization's financial systems and processes.
  • Examine financial records and statements to verify accuracy and completeness, ensuring all transactions are properly authorized and accounted for.
  • Identify and document findings, write detailed audit reports, and provide recommendations to senior management regarding improvements or corrective actions.
  • Communicate findings effectively to management, stakeholders, or regulatory authorities in a clear and concise manner.
  • Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure corrective actions have been taken.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years audit experience in public accounting with expertise in financial statement auditing and risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of Standards for both US GAAP and IFRS frameworks, including financial reporting and disclosure requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting audit findings and advising on improvements.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial documents and transactions.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify issues that may not be immediately apparent.
