Cost Optimization Specialist

We are looking for a Cost Analyst to join our Supply Chain and Analysis department. This position is part of our expansion and will be based in our newly set up office.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver competitive material pricing solutions that support business growth and profitability objectives.
  • Collaborate with various teams to determine material pricing strategies, ensuring alignment on trade-offs between proposal cycle-time, solution precision, and scope.
  • Project manage supply chain solutions with commodity management, costing teams, and engineering teams to deliver desired pricing and margin solutions.
  • Prepare material pricing solutions for new business opportunities (bids) and manage ongoing pricing through the lifecycle of the product.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support external negotiations.
  • Presents proposed solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and generate product teardowns to enable competitiveness assessments.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in relevant fields of Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years (preferably 5 years) of working experience in the EMS or an MNC environment.
  • Experienced in cost analysis skills, knowledge in material pricing and strategy.
  • Good supply base knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical commodities.
  • Proven experience in successful value analysis and value engineering proposals.
  • Familiarity of Microsoft office is a pre-requisite.
