Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our organization at a senior level. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for handling all technical work, including network security management, user access control, and connectivity solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, with experience working on Red Hat/CentOS, Ubuntu, and other major distributions. You should also possess proficiency in Microsoft Windows administration, including knowledge of the latest OS releases and server configurations.

In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for a collaborative team player who can work effectively with our global teams to resolve issues and implement new projects. Experience with IT automation tools like Ansible is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and high availability.
  • Collaborate with global teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Work closely with our IT director to design and implement new IT projects that meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain IT automation scripts using tools like Ansible, reducing manual errors and improving efficiency.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in IT staff roles, preferably in a leadership or senior technical position.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and suppliers, including contract negotiation and management.
  • Fluent English language skills, with experience working directly with US or EU customers.
  • Proficiency in multiple Linux distributions (Red Hat/CentOS, Ubuntu) and Microsoft Windows administration.
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl, with experience in automating repetitive tasks.
  • Networking knowledge, including firewalls, routers, and switch configuration.
  • Experience with IT automation tools like Ansible, and familiarity with DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • RHCE certification, or equivalent experience in Linux system administration.
  • Experience working with remote or on-site servers, including virtualization and cloud platforms.
  • VOIP knowledge, including SIP signaling and RTP, with experience in implementing and managing voice over IP systems.
  • Virtualization and cloud experience, including QEMU, Docker, AWS, and GCP, with a focus on scalability and high availability.
