Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and GAAP/IFRS.

Key responsibilities include managing fixed assets, intangible assets, lease transactions, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, prepaid accounts, GRIR, stock rotation, legal and professional accruals, and tax activities related to the general ledger.

The General Ledger Accountant will also play a key role in month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Additionally, the successful candidate will analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

Maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with internal policies and IFRS will be essential.

Collaboration with AP, AR, Payroll, FP&A, and other departments is crucial to ensure the integrity of financial data.

The General Ledger Accountant will contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Must be amenable to future RTO/Hybrid onsite reporting.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting or finance
  • Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS, accounting principles, and financial controls
  • Proficiency in SAP S4 HANA, Concur, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Banking Platforms
