Job Overview

We seek a detail-oriented and highly skilled professional to join our team in the capacity of Estimator. This role is pivotal for the success of our projects, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management & Entry:
    • Efficiently enter project data into our CRM system.
    • Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs.
    • Organize and manage project documents, including plans, specifications, and proposals.
  • Takeoffs:
    • Perform accurate and detailed takeoffs from blueprints and specifications, including material quantities, labor hours, and equipment needs.
    • Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanGrid) for takeoff and quantity calculations.
  • Estimate Preparation:
    • Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
    • Analyze project scope, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates.
  • CRM Tool Utilization:
    • Effectively utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer relationships, and monitor project progress.
    • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and improve estimating accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with construction estimating software (e.g., Square Takeoff).
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Clickapp, Joist).
  • Proficiency in data entry and management.
