Operational Team Lead

Job Description

The Operational Team Lead oversees the day-to-day execution of workflows, team coordination, and administrative functions within the organization's operational department. This role ensures timely completion of tasks, consistent task board updates, and efficient departmental performance.

This position plays a key role in maintaining efficiency, accountability, and operational structure within the department.

Responsibilities include overseeing workflow management, supervising team members, assigning workloads, tracking attendance, and providing onboarding and training for new team members.

This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless task handoffs, facilitating communication flow between departments, and flagging operational concerns or task delays to the appropriate authorities.

The Operational Team Lead is responsible for verifying payroll data, maintaining department calendars, trackers, and communication logs, and providing weekly operations updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3–5 years in a managerial role, preferably in lead generation, digital marketing, or operations.
  • Previous experience managing a remote team, especially in a digital or marketing setting.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, content, and executive teams.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, ClickUp), Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive), and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
