Global Trade Specialist Role

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver services efficiently, contributing to individual and team performance indicators.

  • Ensure effective service delivery to internal and external clients.

Financial Integrity:

  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records, adhering to guidelines and regulations.

  • Process transactions efficiently, cost-effectively, and lawfully, in accordance with policies and procedures.

  • Implement financial reporting, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards and internal control policies.

Compliance:

  • Support the timely completion of annual external audits, submitting audited financial statements to relevant authorities.

  • Provide financial information for statutory requirements and tax calculations.

  • Assist in delivering and validating information to tax consultants for tax settlements.

  • Ensure timely filing and payment of taxes and other submittals.

Management Reporting:

  • Provide timely and accurate information for budget review, financial forecasting, and profitability analysis.

  • Assist in formulating and updating service level agreements, ensuring compliance by contracting parties.

Engagement and Stakeholder Management:

  • Participate in regular engagement meetings/calls with teams, finance verticals, cluster contacts, regional contacts, peers, and other stakeholders.

  • Engage with external parties to ensure local compliance (auditors, tax consultants, other consultants).

  • Foster positive working relationships across functions and locations.

Collaboration:

  • Work on issue resolution through consistent coordination with relevant parties.

  • Act as back-up for processes/tasks handled by other focal points within the team.

  • Collaborate with peers and managers across teams to standardize processes and implement best practices.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accountancy or related field is required.

  • Experience in accounting roles is preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

  • SAP knowledge is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills and good communication skills are essential.

  • High confidentiality and discretion are expected.

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and adapt to changing environments.

  • Amenable to work on non-standard schedules.
