Risk Management Head

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management expert to spearhead our Enterprise Risk Management framework. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our ERM strategy while working closely with our Chief Risk Officer.

This is an individual contributor position with strong potential for growth into a leadership role. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise risk management policies and procedures.

  • Develop and implement ERM policies and procedures.
  • Review and recommend enhancements to other risk-related policies.
  • Support the Board of Directors in developing our risk appetite and risk limits structure.
  • Own our Risk Appetite Framework, KRI guidelines, and ICAAP process.
  • Lead the preparation of ICAAP documents, including stress testing and scenario analysis.
  • Establish risk management tools and systems to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor interconnected risks.
  • Partner with business and functional teams to embed risk considerations in strategic and product decisions.
  • Provide risk reports and insights to Senior Management, the Board, and regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate with BSP, Group Risk, Compliance, Audit, and external stakeholders on enterprise risk matters.

In addition, you will promote a risk-aware culture by conducting training and awareness initiatives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Management, Mathematics, or related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience in Risk Management, preferably in Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk within a banking environment.
  • Strong knowledge of BSP regulations, ICAAP, and global risk management standards.
  • Proven background in policy formulation, implementation, and risk governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging Senior Management, Board, and regulators.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
