Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in a key role.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated individual with expertise in Australian taxation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and efficient tax returns for companies and trusts
  • Manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) calculations, Capital Gains Tax (CGT) event management, and Division 7A loan compliance and structuring
  • Mentor and collaborate with offshore bookkeeping staff to ensure consistency and quality across our operations
  • Provide support in business activity statements (BAS) preparation and bookkeeping processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years of experience in Australian accounting and taxation
  • Proficiency in Australian tax legislation and compliance
  • Familiarity with Australian Tax Office (ATO) systems and compliance deadlines
  • Xero and XPM proficiency
  • Background in FYIDocs is advantageous
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to communicate complex information effectively
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
