Job Title:

Distribution Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in inventory planning and material planning.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing per SKU inventory across multiple depots, ensuring we have the right product mix at any given time to meet dispatch targets while maintaining optimal cold storage and primary freight costs.

You will generate analytics reports to guide business decisions and lead teams in optimizing distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update inventory data per SKU per depot and address critical SKUs promptly
  • Lay down and confirm loading schedules for the following day
  • Create loading mixes per truck based on latest inventory and forecast
  • Generate STOs for trucks to be loaded the following day
  • Analyze OOS per depot per day
  • Send daily stop booking advise to relevant departments per depot
  • Monitor SKUs for depletion and non-moving SKUs
  • Compute number of trucks to be loaded per depot per week
  • Optimize Kinaxis in depot replenishment, or find alternative digital solutions
Requirements
  • At least 1 year experience in Supply Chain management
  • Familiarity with SAP functionalities
  • Full understanding of Inventory Planning and Material Planning
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to handle large amounts of numeric data
  • Service-oriented attitude
  • Adaptability to changes
  • Amenability for a fixed-term contract of 12 months
