JOB DESCRIPTION

The Assistant Warehouse Manager will oversee key warehouse functions including picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative tasks. This role is responsible for supporting accurate inventory management, coordinating order fulfillment, and monitoring shipping timelines for a high volume of product orders each year. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage and oversee security operations.
  • Ensure the effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment for all staff.
  • Motivate, train, and discipline staff as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of warehouse activities.
  • Monitor the condition, maintenance, and location of fleet vehicles.
  • Assist with deliveries when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
