We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing and accounts receivable, with a proven track record of accurately preparing and issuing invoices, managing customer accounts, and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner, utilizing knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
  2. Manage and track customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments and resolving any billing issues that may arise.
  3. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues, maintaining detailed records of all transactions.
  4. Maintain organized records of billing transactions and customer communications, ensuring seamless communication with internal stakeholders and clients.
  5. Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, implementing effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt.
  6. Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate billing and resolve customer inquiries, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  7. Analyze accounts receivable reports, including aging reports and monthly summaries, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  8. Support the finance team with month-end closing activities and financial reporting related to billing and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience with accounting software and ERP systems a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
