Quality Control Role in Credit Operations

Develop your skills with a global leader in financial services. Contribute to excellence in credit operations and protect the bank from potential credit losses.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough quality reviews and audits of mortgage or credit facilities in accordance with established procedures.
  • Apply firm policies and compliance requirements to inform the development of company systems and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement and develop quality initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Collaborate with data owners and approvers to meet schedules and resolve problems at a peer level.
  • Maintain a risk-aware mindset, challenge status quo, and identify opportunities for process efficiency.
  • Additional responsibilities may include assisting with process transfers, partner communications, and maintaining quality agreements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience reviewing legal documentation or in a similar function in a financial institution.
  • Background in audit or control function experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated relationship-building and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Access.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Law degree preferred.
  • Background in credit or lending policies beneficial.
  • Ability to identify and suggest improvements, driving process changes.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, Python, Exceptor, Signavio desirable.
