Senior Database Architect Job Summary

We're looking for a Senior Database Architect to lead our database design and implementation efforts. This is a key role that requires a deep understanding of database architecture, design, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize database architectures for high performance, quality, and scalability.
  • Tune and productionize data systems and machine learning models to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of features from initial concept through deployment.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers in design reviews and pair programming.
  • Provide technical leadership in architecture and design discussions, advocating for simple solutions.
  • Continuously refine systems balancing new development with technical debt management to keep solutions stable and adaptable.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in database architecture and design.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality database solutions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of database security, privacy compliance, and best practices.
