Job Title: Legal Client Intake Coordinator

The role of the Legal Client Intake Coordinator is a pivotal position in ensuring that prospective clients receive a seamless and professional experience. The ideal candidate will be organized, empathetic, and possess excellent communication skills.

  • Key responsibilities include managing the intake process from initial inquiry to case assignment, collecting essential information, and assessing the suitability of cases. Collaboration with legal staff is crucial to ensure accurate case initiation.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal, administrative, or client service role. At least 2 years of experience in a legal support or client intake-related position are necessary, preferably in a law firm or legal department. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in using legal practice management software are also essential.

Benefits of this role include working in a fast-paced remote environment with minimal supervision and handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Gmail and Word documents, is also beneficial.

Responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for potential new client inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. Conducting thorough intake interviews via telephone to gather critical information regarding potential legal matters is also a key responsibility. Accurately entering potential new client and other contact information into the firm's case management system and maintaining digital records of all communications and supporting documents are additional duties.
