The Transportation Division Leader is a key strategic position responsible for the overall performance and growth of the transport division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve objectives, including revenue growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the company's overall strategic direction.
Operational Management:
- Oversee all aspects of transport operations, including fleet management, route planning, scheduling, and delivery execution.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Manage and resolve operational issues and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
Fleet Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of vehicles.
- Implement and monitor vehicle tracking systems.
- Ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols, regulations, permits, and licenses.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields preferred.
- At least 5-6 years of experience in Transportation or Logistics industry.
- A self-directed individual able to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and business conditions.
- Strong communication skills necessary to build working relationships and positively influence decision making.
- Organizational and Time Management Abilities.
- Experience with SAP system and MS Office.
