Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting data integrations from internal and external sources into the data warehouse technical stack.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate data delivery to systems, while also designing and implementing ETL components, developing Matillion ETL scripts and orchestrations as required, and promoting best practices in ETL development.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage monitoring tools to track the status of ETL pipelines for performance and completion, develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and insert data into and from the data warehouse, and engage with business analysts and technical architects to clarify business requirements and offer recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of IT experience working with ETL in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of ETL design methodologies, including best practices, performance tuning, architecture, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Experience with at least one ETL tool (SSIS, Informatica, Matillion, Talend, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling and ability to represent data using standard modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and stored procedures.
  • Experience working with at least one of these warehouse technologies: SQL, Snowflake, AWS Redshift.
  • Familiarity with processes involved when working on pre-release environments, moving changes between environments.
  • Able to deliver work on schedule (self-manage workload and priorities).
  • Able to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Possess passion for complex data structures and problem-solving.
  • Able to quickly pick up new data tools and concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
