We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support our financial planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Financial Planning: Prepare detailed financial plans for clients, including SOAs and ROAs.
  • Product Comparison and Strategy Modelling: Conduct thorough product comparisons and develop effective strategies for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • SMSF Setup and Structuring: Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) for property investment.
  • Financial Planning Software Utilization: Leverage financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Collaboration with Senior Planners: Work closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Client Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role.
  • Financial Planning Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
