Job Opportunity: Experienced Financial Planning Assistant

Job Description:
  • Support senior financial planners in delivering high-quality client service by providing research, analysis, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs)
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products
  • Assist with the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment
  • Utilize financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation

Responsibilities also include working closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients and ensuring all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a paraplanning role
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
