Job Overview

The role of a Senior Merchandise Planner is pivotal in achieving seamless product placement and timely delivery. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading Allocation and Store Analysts, analyzing future sales forecasts, and managing procurement from China.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the Allocation & Store Analysts team to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Analyze future sales forecasts by product and place stock orders to maintain optimal warehouse inventory levels.
  • Ensure accurate allocation of stock to the right stores at the right time, in line with agreed methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Allocation & Store Analysts to identify and capitalize on in-store sales opportunities and maximize performance.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Merchandise Planner and Allocator focused on merchandise planning and retail allocations.
  • Proven expertise in multi-store or multi-channel retail operations, with hands-on experience in stock allocations.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data to drive allocation accuracy and enhance sales outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate-level skills in formulas such as XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, MROUND, CEILING, and CONCATENATE.
