Software Testing Professional

We are seeking an experienced software testing professional to join our team.

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our end-products by identifying and analysing quality concerns, designing appropriate tests, documenting defects and failure rates, and communicating quality metrics in test reports.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies that meet business requirements.

  • Analytical mindset, natural curiosity, and ability to think outside the box to solve problems.
  • Able to learn quickly and be adaptable.
  • Experience leading a team or mentoring/coaching other testers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical resources.
  • Ability to work in a small agile team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing (functional, non-functional, regression).
  • Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes.
  • Participates in requirement, design and specification reviews, and uses this information to design test plans and test conditions.
  • Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing.
  • Analyses and reports on test activities, results, issues and risks.
