Job Title: Content Creator

We are seeking a skilled Content Creator to join our team. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for crafting engaging articles and guides that educate and inform our audience.

Your primary goal will be to create high-quality content that is clear, concise, and easy to understand. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure that complex information is presented in a way that is accessible to all.

You will be responsible for:

  • Writing clear and concise technical documents
  • Working with software developers and product teams to understand new features
  • Translating technical language into simple English
  • Creatings images such as diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts
  • Organizing documents so they are easily accessible
  • Testing instructions to ensure they are accurate and effective
  • Updating old documents to keep them relevant
  • Collaborating with support teams to identify documentation needs
  • Developing standard formats and templates to maintain consistency
  • Contributing to new projects and suggesting improvements to our documentation

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong writing skills
  • Experience writing different types of technical documents
  • Comfortable asking engineers questions to gather information
  • Familiarity with documentation software
  • Good research skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • Documentation platforms like Confluence or Zendesk Guide
  • Website testing tools like BrowserStack
  • Documentation writing tools like Vellum
  • Basic understanding of software development
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git
  • Understanding of SEO principles

Prior experience in API documentation, 'docs-as-code', Confluence and Jira software, or online marketplaces/platforms is a plus.
