Cloud Data Warehouse Expert Role Overview

In a rapidly evolving data landscape, we seek an experienced Cloud Data Warehouse Expert to manage and maintain large-scale data warehouses for prominent brands. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring secure and reliable operations of the platform.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and enforce robust security policies, RBAC roles, auditing practices, and data protection standards within cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
  • Collaborate with security teams, data engineers, and architects to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud-based platforms.
  • Monitor usage patterns, handle user provisioning, and support regulatory and data governance requirements.

Essential Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouse administration, particularly around security, user management, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Proficiency in integrating cloud-based data warehouses with Active Directory (on-prem or Azure AD) for secure authentication and SSO.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments, including auditing, encryption, and sensitive data handling.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, preferably in environments with SAP or Salesforce as data sources.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to support technical and non-technical stakeholders.
