Job Description

We seek a skilled Workday expert to deliver high-quality solutions by architecting, configuring, and testing Workday applications. As a consultant, you will collaborate with clients to gather business requirements, design configurations, demonstrate prototypes, assist in testing, and facilitate knowledge transfer.

You will work closely with clients to ensure successful deployment of Workday solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expertise in Workday Payroll product suite, specifically Absence & Time Tracking
  • Leading client deployments or coaching others to successfully gather and document client business requirements, design and configure Workday solutions, demonstrate configurations, assist in testing, and complete knowledge transfer
  • Working with confidential data conversion teams to convert legacy data into Workday
  • Assisting integration consulting teams in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
  • Mentoring new consultants and serving as a professional role model
  • Communicating clearly and concisely, collaborating effectively, and facilitating clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices
  • Ensuring ongoing satisfaction, maintaining referenceability, and providing regular status reports to project managers
  • Innovating and suggesting new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
  • Maintaining Workday certifications and qualifications, ensuring functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation, and contributing to a culture of continuous education

Requirements

  • Current Workday Time Tracking Certification
  • 4+ years configuring and implementing Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking Solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
  • Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications
  • Demonstrated project management experience, functional experience in Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking, passion for customer service, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
