Position Description

We're looking for a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Professional to join our team at Optum. In this key role, you'll be responsible for managing healthcare claims, resolving payment disputes, and verifying claim status with insurance providers.

The successful candidate will possess a solid background in medical billing and collections, as well as experience working on the provider side. Familiarity with EPIC SYSTEM and UB04 forms, and the ability to multitask, are also essential requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing healthcare claims and resolving payment disputes.
  • Verifying claim status with insurance providers.
  • Collecting unpaid claims.
  • Processing claims payments.
Requirements:
  • An education level of at least college undergrad for 2 years.
  • Strong background in medical billing/AR Collections for at least 12 months.
  • Experience working on the Provider side (hospital side).
  • Background in calling insurance (Payer) to verify claim status and payment dispute.
  • Proficiency with Windows PC applications.
