Job Description:

  • The Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a crucial role in collecting account receivables from corporate clients, online travel agencies, and wholesalers. This involves ensuring correct rates are recognized, collected, and reflected on the accounts receivable ledger once the folio is picked at the end of the guests' stay/departure date.

  • This includes processing payments for OTA commissions, auditing the quality of tasks performed by junior AR specialists, and attending fortnightly and monthly AR review meetings with the AU Finance team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for completing daily targets for the number of invoices processed, including adjustments such as chargebacks, discounts, rate differences, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2nd year college level in business, accounting, or other financial courses

  • At least 1-3 years of relevant accounts receivable and collections experience in a BPO or financial firm setup

  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office and call centre-specific software/systems

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluency in English language, and adaptability to changing work schedules
