Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Bulk and Raw Materials Scaler to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing their expertise to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Quarry Truck scale and all associated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the truck scale within optimal unit operating costs to maintain accurate and timely weighing of bulk and raw materials, ensuring efficient and cost-effective output.
  • Ensure accuracy of the truck scale computer system and properly file records and update databases.

Autonomous Maintenance:

  • Regularly inspect and monitor assigned equipment, coordinate repairs, and perform regular housekeeping in the work area.

Raw Materials Source Determination and Quality Inspection:

  • Conduct regular inspections on delivered raw materials to ensure quality and quantity availability.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Accomplish all reports needed on logbooks and checklists to record events and activities, providing valuable insights for decision-making.

Cross-Departmental Assistance:

  • Assist with expertise in other departments to minimize downtime of critical equipment, ensuring continuous plant operation.

ISO Certification:

  • Adhere to all certification guidelines and procedures, participating in annual audits to maintain and renew certification.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in manufacturing plant operations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of visual identification of raw materials supplied.
