Job Description

The Production Manager role at our company is accountable for planning, directing, and optimizing the entire manufacturing process to ensure safety, quality, cost control, and on-time delivery. This position leads the effective use of people, processes, and resources while driving continuous improvement in alignment with company objectives.

  • Develop and execute short-, medium-, and long-term production plans aligned with customer demand, sales forecasts, and capacity constraints.
  • Allocate manpower, equipment, and material resources to maximize throughput and minimize idle time.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to secure timely availability of raw materials and components to prevent stockouts or delays.

Monitor downtime, bottlenecks, and deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as needed. Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, FDA, HACCP, or other applicable standards, as well as environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and execute short-, medium-, and long-term production plans aligned with customer demand, sales forecasts, and capacity constraints.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day production activities to meet established KPIs for quality, output, and efficiency.
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement: Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure all finished goods meet or exceed specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or production management within a high-volume environment.
  • Skills & Competencies
    Technical Skills: Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and change management skills; proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, production dashboards, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment
  • Location: Primarily based in the production facility, with occasional meetings in corporate offices or supplier sites.
  • Setting: Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and occasional temperature variations depending on production type.
