Job Description

As an experienced professional in the field of architecture awards, you will be responsible for leading and managing award submissions for top-tier national and international programs.

  • You will develop a comprehensive annual awards submission calendar based on strategic relevance and deadlines.
  • Identify eligible projects, awards, and categories across residential and design sectors.
  • Prepare and manage award submissions, including image curation, text development, project storytelling, and online form completion.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to gather assets, photography, and plans.
  • Maintain records of submissions, deadlines, and results.
  • Advise on photography, presentation, and narrative positioning to maximize chances of winning.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience managing architecture and design award submissions.
  • Strong familiarity with award platforms: AIA, Architizer, Dezeen, Dwell, Interior Design Best of Year, The Plan, WAN, etc.
  • Excellent writing skills with an eye for architectural storytelling.
  • Ability to distill complex project ideas into clear, engaging language.
  • Comfort working with architects, creatives, and photographers.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • A portfolio of successful past submissions or awards won.
