Business Operations Manager Job Description

This position oversees the efficient operation of business processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct operational audits by making follow-up calls to customers and understanding their concerns.
  • Prepare and present quality reports of audit findings and recommendations to management.
  • Identify key risk and control indicators for assigned audit areas.
  • Maintain documentation for risk assessment and management processes.
  • Perform audit-related investigations as directed by management.
  • Evaluate and revise internal controls and operational policies/procedures.
  • Ensure past audit recommendations are implemented in the current audit process.
  • Assist management in developing an annual audit plan.
  • Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a professional and high-quality service experience to customers over the phone by following approved procedures.
  • Verify, schedule, and confirm order details.
  • Complete assigned tasks within a day, such as number of calls, emails, admin reports, and other administrative matters.
  • Collaborate with other departments' stakeholders to support and execute business administration activities and objectives set by the team leader.
  • Work closely with departments such as logistics, marketing, corporate, and other relevant teams.
  • Be meticulous and pay attention to details, especially when handling reports and administrative matters.
  • Be willing to be assigned to ad hoc tasks to support business and customer needs.
  • Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve errors that may arise.
  • Maintain databases and perform updates to ensure accuracy.
  • Create business reports that provide insight into key data points and communicate results to managers in writing or verbally.
  • Upsell products by offering certain services and/or products to customers.

Requirements:

  • This role requires working 6 days a week and 8 hours a day with 3 shifts: 9am, 11am, and 1pm. Hours are subject to changes during peak sales periods.

Entry-level rate is $3 USD per hour.

Permanent work-from-home setup.

Paid leaves, birthday leave.
