Service Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for efficiently removing deposits from power plant condensers and heat exchangers to restore, improve, and maintain their optimal operating performance.

This is a 100% traveling job, requiring frequent travel throughout the US. You will need to have the ability to mobilize at short notice to travel and perform work in our customers' facilities across the country.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Clean condenser and heat exchange tubes by use of a water pump system with assorted tube cleaners.
  • Read pressure gauges to identify drops and rises in pressure from water pump systems.
  • Lift, transport, assemble/reassemble, carry or otherwise move and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Inventory trailers ensuring job readiness after each job.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all service equipment.
  • Set up support equipment as needed.
Required Skills:
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools.
  • Able to travel nationwide with short notice.
  • Ability to work independently & in a team environment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment on the job site.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods (8+ hours per day).
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various work environments.
  • Lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Working in outdoor and indoor environments, sometimes in extreme weather conditions.
  • Climbing ladders, scaffolding, or working at heights as needed.
Work Environment:

The work environment involves remote or industrial locations, such as oil rigs, refineries, or industrial plants. Safety is a top priority, with rigorous training protocols and PPE including hard hats, gloves, and high-visibility clothing provided to mitigate risks.
