About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a senior software engineer. You will be working with cutting-edge technologies such as React and Gatsby, while consuming content from Drupal instances using pipelines and environments like Pantheon, AWS, and GCP.


Key responsibilities

  • You will design and implement front-end solutions using React and Gatsby or another React framework (e.g., Next.js).

  • You will write readable, maintainable code for clients with minimal technical oversight.

  • You will manage facets of the project, including Quality, Performance, and Security.

  • You will collaborate directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate project status.


Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience within the software industry.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a front-end developer with React.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Gatsby, Next, or a similar React framework.

  • Familiarity with automated unit testing and version control using Git.

  • Experience working in a distributed, agile environment with Agile methodologies.

  • Confidence with use of Git for version control and experience with AWS or GCP in a DevOps capacity is a plus.


Preferred qualifications

  • Professional experience with Drupal 8+, PHP, and Composer, Pantheon/Acquia, relational databases, and working in a full-stack capacity.
