Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Database Architectural Specialist to join our team in a remote role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining database architecture, data pipelines and data integration solutions. They will also troubleshoot and resolve database and data-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop database architecture, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  2. Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the data.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve database and data-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Experience in database design, management and optimization preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred).
  • Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
  • Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Prior experience in a similar role or relevant industry experience.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
