Service Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing our range of Industrial, Advanced and Portable Metrology instruments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Instrument Servicing: Install, commission, troubleshoot and repair metrology instruments in an efficient and methodical fashion.
  • Maintenance and Calibration: Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations to ensure optimal instrument performance.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • CRM System Updates: Update CRM system on a timely basis to support team-wide follow up and teamwork.
  • Reporting: Report to the Manager as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A recognised Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in service is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation and experience in getting systems back into operations efficiently and effectively.
  • An interest in metrology and quality as a deliverer of manufacturing competitiveness.
  • A team player with strong inter-personal communications skills, high integrity and discipline.
  • The ability to transport self to work.
