Payroll and Billing Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Billing Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of payroll and billing processes.

  • This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a background in payroll or accounting.
  • The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple priorities effectively.

This position involves managing critical payroll and billing processes including processing time worked for temporary workers, ensuring accurate data entry into payroll and billing software, and assisting with creating and distributing customer invoices and reports.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of payroll compliance and tax regulations as well as proficiency in payroll and billing software, Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform payroll processing tasks such as processing time worked, data entry, verifying payroll data, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
  2. Assist billing department with generating, reviewing, and distributing customer invoices, maintaining billing records, and resolving billing discrepancies.
  3. Compile, verify, and review data from multiple sources for accuracy, and maintain records in payroll and billing systems.
  4. Safeguard sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, provide updates to management, and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
