Job Purpose:

We are seeking an exceptional Service Coordinator to plan and coordinate service activities, maximizing service department utilization and profitability.

  • The ideal candidate will be able to understand customers' needs and provide a warm welcome, building rapport through open communication.
  • He or she will demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, ensuring that customers are aware of available products and services.
  • A strong communicator, the Service Coordinator will liaise with the Workshop Controller for estimates and schedule work, considering utilisation targets, job complexity, and part/material availability.
  • This role requires the ability to pursue opportunities to sell additional products, services, and repair work, adhering to company policy and procedures.
  • The successful candidate will maintain accurate job and customer records, verify payment method before work starts, and ensure all work is completed and charged for.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Befriend and understand customers' needs.
  • Show customer-first behaviours in all interactions.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service.
  • Provide a warm welcome and ask questions to build rapport.
  • Ensure customers are aware of available products and services.
  • Liaise with the Workshop Controller for estimates and schedule work.
  • Book vehicles for workshop, considering utilisation targets, job complexity, and part/material availability.
  • Arrange vehicle delivery or courtesy car, ensuring required checks before handing over the loan car.
  • Pursue opportunities to sell additional products, services, and repair work.
