Product Management Expert

We are seeking a skilled Product Management professional to lead the development and growth of our product catalog. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing product lifecycles.

About the Role:
  • Product Owner: Responsible for the end-to-end management of our product catalog, including strategy, supplier management, technical support, and purchasing.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of flow control, automation, and mechanical components, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and spec sheets.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing support.
  • Innovative Problem-Solver: Develop creative solutions to complex problems, think critically, and drive results-oriented outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and concerns.
  2. Develop and maintain accurate product listings, documentation, and resources.
  3. Monitor performance, returns, and customer feedback to inform product development and improvement initiatives.
  4. Identify gaps in the product catalog and lead the addition of new products, working closely with suppliers to source OEM or private label items.
  5. Forecast demand and ensure inventory levels meet business needs.
  6. Place purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, and manage delivery timelines.
  7. Track supplier performance, including costs, responsiveness, and quality.
  8. Support inventory planning and purchasing adjustments with the operations team.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in product management, technical sales, engineering, or catalog operations.
  • Familiarity with flow control, automation, or mechanical components.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detailed-oriented and organized, with a passion for owning outcomes.
