Opportunity for Consultancy Expert

We are seeking a consultancy expert to support the development of resources and assist in reviewing and analyzing project activities aimed at improving education for Roma children in Slovakia.

The expected outcome is to provide high-quality education, promoting inclusion and respect for diversity and multiculturalism. The consultant will work closely with UNICEF ECARO and national stakeholders to achieve this goal.

The work assignment involves:

  • Conducting an EU/international review of good practices in addressing education segregation for Roma children
  • Developing a capacity building toolkit and delivering workshops
  • Providing technical expertise to project activities and revising the research plan

To be successful in this role, you will need advanced qualifications in international development, human rights, or a related field, along with significant experience in education and inclusive education. Fluency in English and excellent communication skills are also required.

This consultancy opportunity is part-time and home-based, with a duration of 45 working days within a specific period. Regular progress reviews will be conducted by UNICEF ECARO and the TSI Project Coordinator-Consultant.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Advanced degree in international development, human rights, education, or another relevant social science field
  • At least ten years of professional work experience in education, inclusive education, or inclusion of the most vulnerable groups in education
