Job Opportunity: Inclusive Education Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Inclusive Education Specialist to support our project in promoting inclusive education for Roma children.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive review of good practices in addressing education segregation for Roma children and developing a capacity building toolkit. The specialist will also provide technical expertise to project activities, revise research plans, and support the presentation of project deliverables at events.

This is a part-time consultancy opportunity that requires excellent communication and presentation skills. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct an EU/international review of good practices in addressing education segregation for Roma children
  • Develop a capacity building toolkit for regional and national stakeholders
  • Provide technical expertise to project activities based on the findings of the review and toolkit
  • Support the presentation of project deliverables at events
Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you will need:

  • An advanced degree in international development, human rights, education, or another relevant social science field
  • At least ten years of professional experience in education, inclusive education, or inclusion of vulnerable groups in education
  • Excellent knowledge of the international/regional framework and trends in inclusive education, including Roma inclusion
  • Good networking and collaboration skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English with excellent communication and presentation skills
