Job Opportunity: Private Equity Fund Accountant

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to provide top-notch services for private equity fund clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation and processing of transactions for private equity fund clients.
  • Generate comprehensive financial reports for review by clients and investors.
  • Review calculations for fees, including management fees, capital calls, distributions, carried interest, and waterfall structures.
  • Handle investor communications, including notices for capital calls and distributions.
  • E nsure accuracy and compliance of quarterly and annual financial reports with established accounting standards.
  • Support year-end audits by assisting clients in responding to external auditors' inquiries.
  • Aid in onboarding new funds and launching existing ones by defining customized service models.
  • Contribute to the development of technology solutions that enhance reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a focus on Accounting.
  • An internationally recognized accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is highly valued.
  • At least 6 years of accounting experience, particularly in private equity, or a mix of audit/fund administration and private equity experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various accounting standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.
