Financial Records Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Financial Records Specialist to join our Tax team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring efficiency in financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Accurate Financial Records: Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process accurately.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute financial statements, reports, and budgets effectively.
  • Audit Support: Assist with audits and ensure all financial data is accurate and readily available.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Financial Records Specialist or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, U.S GAAP, or another accounting framework.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bookkeeping Certification is desirable.
  • Prior experience or certification in Tax Preparation is beneficial.
  • General Knowledge of US business formation processes is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a business formation company is valuable.
