Streamlining Operations with AI Automation Expertise

We are at an inflection point in our growth curve, seeking a skilled professional to join us on our journey to become a major global beauty brand. As an AI Automation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining workflow automations that address our biggest growth bottlenecks.

The position involves working hands-on in n8n (plus Python/JavaScript) to turn manual, error-prone tasks into reliable agents that save time and unlock revenue. You will map pain points by interviewing team members across marketing, ops, CX, and product to identify high-impact, high-effort processes ripe for automation.

  • Pain Point Identification: Work closely with cross-functional teams to pinpoint areas of inefficiency and opportunities for improvement.
  • Automation Development: Design, build, and deploy n8n workflows (and occasional custom scripts) for use cases like influencer sourcing, automated reporting dashboards, and internal knowledge management systems.
  • Integration and Monitoring: Connect Shopify, Amazon SP-API, Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable, Klaviyo, etc. using APIs and webhooks, and set up logging, alerting, and SLA checks to refine flows based on usage data and stakeholder feedback.
  • Documentation and Training: Create concise SOPs and Loom walkthroughs so non-technical teammates can self-serve, ensuring seamless handovers and reducing downtime.
  • ROI Tracking: Quantify hours saved, cost reductions, and incremental revenue driven by each automation, providing actionable insights to inform future development priorities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in e-commerce, DTC, or Amazon marketplace tooling, with a proven track record of driving process improvements.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for custom nodes, API wrappers, and data transforms, with expertise in n8n required.
  • Solid grasp of REST APIs, OAuth, and webhook patterns, with experience integrating multiple tools and platforms.
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and drive collaboration across teams.
  • Self-starter mindset, bias for action, comfortable working asynchronously with flexible overlap to accommodate Pacific Time zone constraints.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with vector databases, LangChain/LlamaIndex, and RAG pipelines, with experience in leveraging these technologies to drive innovation.
  • Basic SQL and data-viz skills, with proficiency in tools like Metabase, Looker, or Supabase.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM orchestration, with experience in applying these concepts to real-world challenges.
