Major Function

The Talent Acquisition/Recruiter Lead is responsible for leading and managing the sourcing and recruitment efforts to attract and hire top talent for our organization. Collaborates with hiring managers and HR Business partners to understand the hiring needs, develop sourcing strategies, and drive the recruitment process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including job requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct sourcing.
  • Manage and guide a team of recruiters, providing coaching, training, and mentoring to ensure high-quality recruitment practices and performance.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and HR partners to understand their talent needs, establish recruitment priorities, and provide ongoing support and updates.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume screening, phone interviews, and in-person or virtual interviews, to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Actively participate in employer branding initiatives, including career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities, to enhance the organization's reputation and attract top talent.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems and recruitment software to maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, track recruitment metrics, and generate reports on recruitment activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and recruitment best practices to continually improve the effectiveness of sourcing and recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, including pre-employment checks, offer negotiations, and facilitating the transition into their new roles.
  • Maintain a strong focus on diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process, ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a recruiter or sourcing specialist, with a minimum of 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Solid knowledge of full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection techniques.
  • Experience using various sourcing strategies and tools, including social media, job boards, professional networks, and direct sourcing methods.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence others, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software to manage candidate pipelines and generate reports.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, employment practices, and diversity and inclusion principles.
  • Professional certifications in recruitment or sourcing are a plus.
