Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs hardware problem, troubleshooting, diagnostic, and resolution of enrolled IT resources herein mentioned including the appropriate evaluation and recommendation if upgrade or replacement of unit is needed.
  • Performs restoration, re-installation, or reconfiguration of Software, including device driver and network connectivity necessary to fix an incident i.e. due to HDD hardware problem.
  • Perform data sanitation using disk wipe tool Deploy onsite security patches on a monthly basis as needed.
  • Perform remediation on infected systems, provided that
  • these infections are isolated incidents. Apply software patches or fixes as required to fix the incident reported.
  • Resolve the problem or escalate it to the respective internal or external technical support personnel/team by informing the Service Desk, depending on the severity of the reported problem/s.
  • Performs semi-annual Preventive Maintenance for machines, printers, scanners, and peripherals. Conduct wall-to-wall inventory.
  • Accomplish Preventive Maintenance Checklist to ensure completeness of activity. Provide proactive service that anticipates future Desktop failures and resolves them proactively such that any impact is minimized.
