Your role in the team

The Revenue Specialist is responsible for delivering accurate and timely revenue reports and analysis to the UK business. The role requires understanding of the wider context of the Company's trading activities and revenue streams, to be able to review external third-party reports, comprehend the data and post the required journal entries into the accounting system. The Revenue Specialist will be expected to raise concerns internally and externally should the data and data quality not be in keeping with expectations.

The Revenue Specialist is expected to collaborate with finance and non-finance colleagues across the business, and other external partners. The role is expected to expand with the team's growth, and will include computation of various gaming taxes, and liaison with the Group Tax function. The position will also include requirements to document, review, assess and recommend new methods and procedures as revenue reporting continues to evolve with the business it is supporting.

Overview Of Main Responsibilities

  • General Accounting and period-end closing which includes compilation and downloads of data and reports, preparation of journals, balance sheets and revenue budgets and forecasts. You will be working closely with the Financial Accounting Manager and th Manila Center of Excellence group.
  • Account Analysis and Issue Resolution which includes review, preparation and reconciliation of turnover statements and quarterly duty returns.
  • Project and adhoc activities which covers preparation, and upkeep of any process documentation in relation to the tasks performed.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any business-related course, accounting preferably; CPA is an advantage
  • 2 years' experience and tenure in the company working under the Finance team plus 2 years' external work experience in Finance and accounting (Internal Hire)
  • Minimum Eligibility (For Internal) - No active disciplinary actions, from the time of application to the date of transfer; Minimum 1 year tenure in (current role) is required
  • 4 years of experience working in the field of accounting, finance or audit. Experience in handling online gaming revenues is an advantage. (External Hire)
  • Highly accurate and detail orientated in processes undertaken and work produced, but able to keep sight of the bigger picture
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Preparation of management information reports
  • Exposure to international working environments
  • Knowledgeable in using finance systems
  • Proficient in MS Office application (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Thrive in a small team, but also in a larger group environment
  • Minimum Eligibility (For Internal) - No active disciplinary actions, from the time of application to the date of transfer; Minimum 1 year tenure in (current role) is required
