Work Set-up: Day shift, 100% field work - travelling within North or South Mindanao - whichever located

Job Summary:
As a Business Development Area Manager, you'll oversee a team of Account and Client Support Officers, translating business goals into local strategies. Responsibilities include boosting brand presence, expanding market reach, and ensuring client retention through effective renewal strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sales strategies based on market insights to maximize market potential.
- Identify and acquire new clients and segments, explore untapped markets, and devise plans to capture market share.
- Conduct thorough market analysis within the assigned area.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for new business expansion.
- Represent the brand locally, ensuring effective promotion and communication.
- Execute local promotional activities and events to enhance brand visibility and create a positive image among the target client base.
- Lead and manage a team of Account Officers and Client Support Officers.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
- Participate in recruitment and selection, set performance expectations and goals, conduct regular performance reviews.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and existing clients.
- Collaborate with Client Support Officers for relationship management of existing clients.
- Upsell or cross-sell additional products/services, ensure customer satisfaction, and encourage repeat business.
- Provide insights from the local level to refine and optimize sales and renewal strategies, adapting tactics to local conditions and customer preferences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Management, Marketing, or any related field
- 3 years of Sales Manager level experience in a Business-to-Business (B2B) environment, preferably in the Publishing, Tech, Pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams
- Effective communication skills and strong business acumen industry expertise
- Preferred - at least existing connections and understanding of the e-learning industry targeting K-12 education
