Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, restaurant management, culinary, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at restaurant, or similar.
  • Extensive experience with forecasting, purchasing and inventory reports.
  • In-depth knowledge in kitchen standard operations.
  • Ability to improve, innovate and create a recipe.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
  • Overseeing kitchen staff and full operation of the kitchen.
  • Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance.
  • Evaluating the supply and availability of the stocks.
  • Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
  • Monitoring shelve stocks, quality control and compliance of SOP's.
  • Motivating employees to achieve targets.
  • Training new staff members.
