Key Responsibilities of a Technical Support Specialist:

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Provide step-by-step instructions to fix technical problems.
Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or analysts.
Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.

Installation and Configuration:

Install and configure computer systems, hardware, and software.

Set up new user accounts and profiles.
Assist with the rollout of new applications.

Customer Support and Communication:

Provide technical assistance and answer questions from users.

Communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
Establish good relationships with clients and colleagues.

Maintenance and Monitoring:

Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updating software and hardware.
Ensure system functionality by testing computer components.

Training and Documentation:

Train users on new software and hardware.

Create and maintain technical documentation.
Provide backup solutions and instructions.

Other Tasks:

Assist with the preparation of equipment replacement and software upgrades or installations.

Document and report progress of hardware replacement, software installations, and special projects.
Recommends, tests, and deploys hardware and software for Client workstations.
May assist with installation of Ethernet and Coaxial cabling as well as various network or security systems
