Key Responsibilities
Maintenance:
Performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibrations on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnosing the cause of malfunctions, disassembling machinery, replacing or repairing defective parts, and conducting emergency repairs.
Technical Interpretation:
Reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to understand machinery and perform repairs.
Equipment Operation:
Operating machinery, using diagnostic tools, and utilizing various hand and power tools.
Record Keeping:
Documenting all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues.
Safety Compliance:
Adhering to all company safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Continuous Improvement:
Participating in activities to improve machine performance and production processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
A strong background in mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
Problem-Solving:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.
Communication:
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
Detail-Oriented:
Meticulous attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and successful repairs.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks that may require physical strength and endurance.
